What you'll get

The Yoga Anatomy Blueprint

A 90-Day, High-Touch Coaching Experience for Yoga Teachers

This is not a course.

It’s a focused, 90-day experience designed to transform how you teach — so you can walk into any class and feel clear, confident, and fully in control.

If you’ve ever felt like:

  • you know a lot, but struggle to apply it in real time
  • creating sequences takes too long
  • your cueing feels confusing
  • or you second-guess yourself while you’re teaching

this is where that changes.

What we focus on

Inside this program, you don’t just “learn anatomy.”

We work together to help you:

  • apply anatomy in a way that actually shows up in your teaching
  • simplify your sequencing so it feels natural and more like what you want to teach
  • refine your cueing so you share cues you understand with confidence
  • move through your classes with ease using the Walk + Talk method
  • and build the kind of confidence that comes from knowing what you’re doing and why

How this is different

Most programs give you information and leave you to figure out how to use it.

This is different.

You get direct, ongoing support so you’re not guessing, overthinking, or trying to piece things together on your own.

We take what you’re learning and apply it to your teaching — in real time.

What you’ll experience

Over 90 days, you’ll begin to notice:

  • teaching feels easier and less effortful
  • you spend less time planning and more time actually teaching
  • your cues become clearer and more effective
  • you trust yourself more in the room
  • and your students respond to your teaching in a different way

What’s included

  • A step-by-step training portal you can follow at your own pace
  • A full anatomy manual and supporting materials
  • Access to the Practice Portal for sequencing ideas and inspiration
  • 2 one-on-one coaching calls per month (for 90 days)
  • Ongoing support to help you apply everything directly to your teaching
  • Lifetime access to the program materials

The result

By the end of this program, you won’t just “understand anatomy.”

You’ll know:

  • what to say
  • how to sequence
  • how to adjust in real time
  • and how to teach in a way that feels natural, confident, and your own

Additional details

  • Eligible for up to 30 CEU hours
  • Includes a certification in Anatomy and Teaching
  • 30-day money-back guarantee (when actively participating)

If you’re ready to stop overthinking and start teaching with clarity and confidence, I’d love to work with you.

It would be irresponsible of me not to identify myself as the person in some of the videos that modeled the poses for Karen. The reason I readily accepted the invitation to participate, (and was honored to be asked) was because I had been watching the videos on Karen's Facebook page for a while and found them so informative and helpful. Karen is one of those rare gems who is really kind and generous with her time. She loves sharing her knowledge with people and it really comes from a place of wanting to help everyone with their own practice, understanding their own body. And if you're a teacher like me, she wants to help you be better at that, too. The chapters are well thought out and easy to follow. Karen lays out the major body movements and muscles in a way that you can easily understand and incorporate into your practice or teaching. For those of us who have gone through TT, this is a perfect anatomy refresher/augmentation course. It can serve to re-energize your teaching by looking at the body from a perspective you might not have considered. Karen will encourage you to build a class around that perspective, which can only improve your teaching. And if you are not a teacher, you'll have a greater understanding of the body and maybe a better understanding of the cues that yoga teachers might give you in class. You'll also understand why certain movement might cause injury, especially ones that are repeated many times. Either way, a better understanding of our bodies is always a benefit. You can pause the program and start it up again later. I recommend this because there's a lot of info and you can't absorb it all in one sitting. I like to watch the videos until feel a little like my head is full and I have a chance to incorporate it into my practice before continuing. For me, that's the way I actually remember things over the long run...putting it into practice. It helps to plan a time to continue with the videos so you make sure you continue all the way through. I highly recommend any of Karen's books and online trainings. You can't really go wrong here! Just dive in and explore!

After completing my 200-hour YTT, I still didn't feel confident in my understanding of anatomy. I went searching for additional learning opportunities and found Karen's Yoga Anatomy Blueprint course. I've just completed it and, it was fantastic, and well worth my investment! Not only was the course well laid out, it contained so much additional information for me to add to my anatomy toolbox. The course isn't just a teaching about the broad and expansive subject of anatomy, it is specifically targeted to understanding anatomy from the perspective of yoga teaching. Furthermore, the added benefit of Karen's coaching calls are priceless. She is a WEALTH of information, not only about anatomy but also about business building, and she is only too willing to share all that she has learned. I am truly grateful and would certainly recommend this course to anyone looking to boost their understanding of anatomy for the purposes of teaching yoga. Thank you, Karen!!! (P.S. Karen's book, "Stretched: Build Your Yoga Business, Grow Your Teaching Techniques", is amazing!!!)

I was looking for a little more anatomy training and stumbled upon the Blue Print Learning Program. Karen has created an easy to follow training manual and video course to help deepen any yoga teacher's understanding of anatomy. In addition, she gives a step-by-step approach to cueing yoga poses with anatomy as a base. This program helped solidify the knowledge I already had, as well as, deepen my anatomy base for yoga. I would recommend this course for both the seasoned practitioner and the beginning yoga instructor!

I'm so pleased that I enrolled for this course. It's really helped my confidence to teach anatomy in the yoga context. The course modules are structured and informative in a way that has helped me to integrate the knowledge into my own practice and teaching. The manual is nicely presented and is great as a fall back reference. Karen is always available to answer queries and to help one to be a better teacher. In addition, as a bonus, she sends you all the updates to the course. I'm delighted.

After completing my 200-hour course I still felt very unsure about anatomy. I read Yoga anatomy books but still felt like so many pieces were missing. I signed up for one of her free online sessions and I was hooked! I enrolled right away and haven’t regretted it once. She breaks everything down into easy to understand segments and gives you so many ideas and options about how to lead and teach students. Not only is Karen incredibly knowledgeable about anatomy but her commitment to you as a student is something I honestly haven’t found anywhere else in all the courses I’ve taken online. She is there for you 100% to answer any questions clearly and thoughtfully until you feel comfortable with the information. If you want to feel confident about anatomy as a Yoga instructor I don't think you'll find anyone better!

Following my 200 hour training, i wanted to expand my anatomy knowledge, that’s when i found Bare Bones Yoga. The Blueprint Learning Program (BLP) is a brilliant program and helped break down a complex subject into key aspects of anatomy. The BLP taught me so much, including the mechanics of healthy movements and how to apply this to my teaching. Karen invests a huge amount of time and effort into her students and provides many valuable resources to support you throughout the program. Karen is so enthusiastic, passionate and supportive. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in developing their yoga anatomy knowledge.

I am a recent graduate of the Blue Print Learning Program. I cannot tell you how wonderful this program is. Karen is a wealth of knowledge and the program is quite in depth, starting from the basics of Anatomy. You can see all the work Karen has put into creating this Program. Karen is always available should you have any questions and responds quickly to all messages. She treats you as a colleague and makes you feel right at home – as if she’s known you for years - she is so encouraging! This program was exactly what I needed after completing my RYT200, and I feel much more confident as a Yoga Instructor knowing what’s happening in our bodies during poses / movements along with reasons why these movements/poses are the way they are. What’s amazing, even after you’ve completed the course, Karen remains available for any questions you may have. Thank you so much Karen. It was a pleasure to take this course. I will continue to use it in the future as a reference.
