High to Low Push Up Mini Course
Learn the anatomy and key actions behind this complex set of yoga poses
This course will give you the background on the common movement offered in many yoga classes; that of moving from High to Low Push Up. Without an understanding of how the shoulder joint works and the muscles to activate (as well as avoid activating) when taking this movement, it can be challenging to practice with safety, strength and integrity. This course will take you through a review of the muscles involved, discuss common problems for students and outline the key actions to take so this movement can build strength in the upper body without creating injuries.
After this course, you will be able to teach moving from High to Low Push Up with better cues, a better understanding of the anatomy behind the movements and will be able to answer student questions about these poses.
You will also get a completion certificate at the end of the course to use for CEU submission.
